The ideal candidate will handle accounting with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting across property operations and related financials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in property management accounting.
• Experience with GL maintenance, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• CA qualification or equivalent is a plus.
• Knowledge of cash-based accounting with limited accrual activity.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end property management accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance and reconciliation.
• Record and review financial transactions, cash receipts, cash disbursements, and other accounting entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances and movements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure completeness and accuracy of data.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for property operations.
• Monitor property-related income and expenses and investigate discrepancies.
• Utilize Yardi for accounting transactions and reporting workflows.
• Ensure records are maintained and aligned with procedures.
• Coordinate with internal teams on accounting matters.
• Work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Job Summary

Agile Tech Ops Inc. is looking for an experienced Property Management Accountant to support a US-based client specializing in property management and commercial real estate. The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on experience in property management accounting, particularly with Yardi, and can independently manage end‑to‑end accounting responsibilities, including general ledger (GL) management.

This role requires a seasoned accounting professional who can work with minimal supervision, apply strong accounting fundamentals, and contribute immediately in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end property management accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance and reconciliation.
• Record and review financial transactions, cash receipts, cash disbursements, and other accounting entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances and movements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure the completeness and accuracy of accounting data.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation related to property operations.
• Monitor property-related income and expenses and investigate discrepancies.
• Utilize Yardi for accounting transactions, financial reporting, and property management accounting workflows.
• Ensure accounting records are properly maintained and aligned with established procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience in property management accounting, preferably in commercial real estate.
• Experience handling general ledger responsibilities and end‑to‑end accounting processes.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent professional accounting experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and cash accounting.
• Experience working with cash‑based accounting processes, with limited accrual‑related activities.
• Ability to work independently and make sound accounting decisions.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience supporting US‑based property management or commercial real estate companies is an advantage.
• Must be willing to work full US business hours.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in property management companies, commercial real estate firms, or established real estate outsourcing and BPO organizations supporting clients such as CBRE and similar companies are encouraged to apply.
