Polematrix Systems & Construction, Inc is seeking a Project Supervisor/Engineer to oversee day-to-day project execution and engineering activities on site, coordinating schedules, resources, and technical requirements to ensure safe, timely completion.
You will review drawings, monitor quality and safety, align with project managers and field teams, and address issues with practical solutions. A licensed engineer is preferred and experience in construction or EPC projects is a plus.
The Project Supervisor or Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing day-to-day project execution and engineering activities by supervising site operations, monitoring schedules and resources, coordinating technical requirements, and addressing project issues to ensure successful and efficient project completion.
Supervises on-site activities to ensure work is completed according to project plans, schedules, specifications, and safety requirements.
Monitors project progress, prepares daily accomplishment reports, identifies potential delays and site issues, and recommends actions to support timely project completion.
Coordinates manpower, materials, equipment, and site requirements, including monitoring material availability against project schedules, to support efficient project execution and productivity.
Prepare and review technical drawings, engineering plans, and project documentation required for project execution
Interpret project specifications and technical requirements and provide guidance to support proper implementation
Analyze technical issues and recommend practical solutions to support project quality and execution
Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with approved specifications, engineering standards, company policies, and safety requirements
Conduct inspections and review work quality to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to project requirements
Identify quality, compliance, and technical issues and coordinate corrective actions to address project risks
Coordinates with project managers, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and field teams to support project execution and resolve project concerns.
Identifies operational, technical, and resource-related issues and recommends actions to minimize project disruptions.
Communicates project updates, site concerns, and technical requirements to relevant stakeholders and supports timely issue resolution.
Supports special projects
Performs other related duties as may be assigned
Technical or engineering background, or equivalent combination of education and relevant field experience.
Knowledge of field operations, quality monitoring, schedule tracking, and safety procedures.
Knowledge of technical drawings, engineering documentation, field coordination, and engineering standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferably with experience in construction, infrastructure, telecommunications, or EPC-related projects.
