Job summary

GLOBAL COOL SOLUTIONS is seeking a Project Engineer to monitor the project quality plan, assist the Project Manager with cash flow and claims, and oversee resources from start-up to closeout. The role requires coordinating site works, ensuring adherence to drawings, codes, and schedules in Kawit, Cavite, Philippines.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with licensed engineer preferred.

• 2–5 years in project engineering, construction, or PM.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project quality plan, work program and assist PM in cash flow & progressive claim prep.
• Oversee resources from start-up to closeout to meet owner expectations.
• Plan, coordinate, supervise & monitor site works; ensure safety and rules compliance.
• Prepare quantities for variation orders and quotations.
• Ensure installation and maintenance align with drawings and schedules.
• Attend progress, coordination, safety meetings and site inspections.
• Attend valuation of progress claims with client/consultants’ reps.
• Ensure day-to-day project operations transition to PMs as field work starts.
• Identify new business opportunities including up-selling/cross-selling.
• As trainer for subordinates.

• To monitor the project quality plan, work program and assist the Project Manager in monitoring project cash flow & progressive claim preparation.
• Provide oversight in managing all necessary resources throughout the entire project from start-up through closeout and ensure that the owner's expectations are met.
• Plan, coordinate, supervise and monitor construction works at the site & ensure site personnel follow the company rules & regulations.
• Prepare quantities for variation order works and quotation.
• Ensure installation, servicing and/or maintenance works are according to the drawing contract specification and work schedule.
• To attend site progress meeting, coordination meeting, safety meeting and site inspection.
• To attend the valuation of the progress claim with the client and/or the consultants' representative.
• Ensure that the day-to-day operations of projects are transitioned effectively to Project Managers when work commences in the field.
• Identify new business opportunities within the existing customer portfolio, including up-selling and cross-selling.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Licensed Engineer (preferred or required, depending on the project).
• Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in project engineering, construction, or project management.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and project execution.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar project management tools.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and project scheduling.
