Job summary

REGAN INDUSTRIAL SALES INC is seeking a skilled supervisor to oversee machine modification, layout, installation, repair, and fabrication projects. You will design machine parts, supervise technicians, and ensure timely execution of work orders while maintaining safety standards.

You will assess project needs, prepare material requisitions, and monitor daily activities across mechanics, welders, and fabricators.

Responsibilities

• Create and supervise machine modification, machine layout, installation/erection, repair, fabrication and machine parts design or modifications.
• Establish and ensure project plans and execution of project assignments are done properly.
• Make assessments and recommendations to upgrade process machines, equipment or plant facilities.
• Review and analyze data on Objectives and Target Monitoring Accomplishment Report.
• Create drawing layout of work order requests on machine parts for modification and installation; plan layouts and BOMs.
• Prepare requisition of materials for projects based on work orders.
• Monitor daily activities of mechanics, machinists, fabricators and welders.
• Request materials needed for machining, fabrication and machine parts.
• Assist and supervise workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• Analyze breakdowns to find root causes and corrective actions.
• Promote safety awareness and ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Supervise and check mechanical works, fabrication and maintenance; guide subordinates as needed.
• Monitor and implement schedules of preventive maintenance programs.
• Assist Section head in weekly team meetings.
• Assess and estimate materials for each project work order.
• Fill project work orders, monthly targets and risk registry.

Job description

Scope and Responsibilities

1. Create and supervise machine modification, machine layout, installation/erection, repair, fabrication and machine parts design or modifications.
2. Establish and ensures project plans and execution of project assignments are done properly.
3. Make assessments and recommendations to the higher authority regarding the improvements and new ideas to upgrade for any process machines, equipment or plant related facilities.
4. Review and analyze data on Objectives and Target Monitoring Accomplishment Report.
5. Creates drawing layout of work order request on machine parts for modification, fabrication and installation, plan layouts and bills of materials on new machines, facility structure or office for construction / renovation.
6. Makes and prepare requisition of materials to be used for projects base on work order request. 7. Receive and log on logbook with corresponding work order for all incoming requested project to be performed
7. Monitors daily activities of mechanics, machinists, fabricators and welders
8. Make a request for all materials needed for machining, fabricators and machine parts
9. Assist and supervise workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment
10. Systematically analyze breakdown of machine or structure to develop the root cause of the breakdown and the corrective actions to undertake
11. Promote employee safety awareness and ensure safety and environmental compliance
12. Supervise, monitor and check any mechanical works, fabrication, corrective maintenance works and actively assist or provides direction to subordinates as required
13. Monitors and implement the schedules of project preventive maintenance program
14. Assist Section head in conducting weekly meeting of his section or team
15. Assess and estimate materials needed in every project work order request
16. Fill up and accomplish project work orders, monthly targets and objectives and risk registry.
