Job Description
The Project Site Coordinator is responsible for supervising and coordinating day-to-day site activities to ensure project works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved plans, specifications, schedules, and quality standards. The role focuses on site operations, installation management, manpower supervision, and project execution while working closely with the Project Manager and Project Liaison Officer.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Execution and Supervision
- Oversee daily construction, installation, and project execution activities at site.
- Monitor work progress and ensure activities are performed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Supervise installers, subcontractors, and site workers to achieve project milestones.
- Ensure proper sequencing of work activities to maximize productivity and minimize delays.
- Verify readiness of work areas prior to installation activities.
2. Schedule and Productivity Management
- Monitor project progress against the approved implementation schedule.
- Track completion of installation activities and identify potential delays.
- Coordinate manpower allocation and work assignments on-site.
- Recommend corrective actions to recover delayed activities.
- Ensure efficient utilization of site resources, tools, and equipment.
3. Quality Control
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure workmanship meets quality requirements.
- Verify installations comply with approved shop drawings and specifications.
- Identify defects, punch-list items, and non-conforming works.
- Ensure timely correction of deficiencies and rework items.
- Support inspection, testing, and final acceptance activities.
4. Material and Asset Management
- Verify delivered materials against installation requirements.
- Monitor material consumption and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and protection of materials on-site.
- Coordinate issuance of materials to installation teams.
- Safeguard company tools, equipment, and project assets deployed on-site.
5. Health, Safety, and Housekeeping
- Enforce site safety procedures and company safety policies.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections.
- Report and address unsafe conditions immediately.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain good housekeeping standards and organized work areas.
6. Site Reporting
- Prepare daily accomplishment reports.
- Document completed works, outstanding activities, and site issues.
- Maintain records of manpower attendance and productivity.
- Report project risks, delays, and technical concerns to the Project Manage
7. Project Close-Out Support
- Assist in preparation of punch-list inspections.
- Verify completion of corrective actions before turnover.
- Support final project implementation activities.
- Ensure project areas are properly cleaned and ready for client handover.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Interior Design, or related field.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in construction, fit-out, cabinetry, furniture installation, or project site supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of construction methods, installation practices, and quality standards.
- Detail-oriented, strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Reports To: Project Manager / Project-In-Charge
Interfaces With: TKHS installation team, Site Foremen, QA/QC Personnel, Warehouse and Logistics Team, Procurement Team, Subcontractors
Employment Status: Six (6) month service contract / To be extended/renewed as necessary
