Job summary

HYOLIM INC is seeking an experienced Project QA/QC (Electrical) professional to join our construction team on a contract basis. Based in Batino, Calamba City, Laguna, you will inspect, test, and verify electrical work to meet national codes and client specs.

You will conduct comprehensive inspections, document results, and collaborate with contractors and project management to prevent non-conformances while maintaining schedules and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in electrical QA/QC within construction projects.
• Formal qualifications in electrical engineering or equivalent credentials.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards for PH construction.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical installations, wiring, panels, and grounding systems.

About the role

HYOLIM INC is seeking an experienced Project QA/QC (Electrical) professional to join our construction team on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance and quality control across all electrical installations and systems on our projects. Based in Batino, Calamba City, Laguna, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying electrical work to meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications. This position plays a critical role in maintaining project timelines, minimising rework costs, and ensuring the safety and integrity of all electrical installations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of electrical installations, including wiring, conduits, panels, equipment connections and grounding systems
• Perform testing and verification of electrical systems to ensure compliance with national electrical codes, safety standards and project specifications
• Document all quality control activities, test results and non-conformances using established reporting procedures and quality management systems
• Identify defects, deviations and areas of non-compliance, issuing corrective action requests and ensuring timely resolution
• Collaborate with electrical contractors, site supervisors and project management to resolve quality issues and implement preventative measures
• Review and approve electrical drawings, specifications and material submissions prior to installation
• Maintain detailed records of inspection reports, test certificates, and quality documentation for project archives and regulatory compliance
• Conduct quality awareness and training sessions with electrical teams to reinforce standards and best practices
• Perform final inspections and sign-off procedures for electrical work completion stages

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in electrical QA/QC within construction projects
• Formal qualifications in electrical engineering, electrical technician certifications or equivalent professional credentials
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards and regulations applicable to construction work in the Philippines
• Proven expertise in testing and inspection methodologies for electrical systems and equipment
• Strong understanding of electrical drawings, blueprints and technical specifications
• Proficiency in using quality control tools, testing equipment and documentation software
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety and quality standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems is highly desirable
• Physical fitness to conduct site inspections and climbing where necessary
