Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

• 5-10 years in construction

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules, allocate resources, and create work plans with engineering and procurement teams
• Coordinate with Area Manager and Construction Manager to implement the project plan and meet client milestones
• Serve as primary contact for client representatives and stakeholders, maintain open communication, resolve issues promptly
• Participate in regular client and stakeholder meetings to report progress and address concerns
• Oversee mobilization and optimal use of labor, equipment, and materials within budget
• Monitor expenses and cost variances to align with approved budget
• Ensure construction activities adhere to quality standards and project specs
• Enforce on-site safety standards and collaborate with Safety Manager
• Prepare and submit billing documents and change orders to construction management
• Lead and mentor the project team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement

About the role

This is a Project Manager position responsible for overseeing construction projects from planning through execution. You will serve as the primary point of contact between the client, construction management team, and internal stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules, resource allocations, and work plans in coordination with the engineering and procurement teams
• Coordinate closely with the Area Manager and Construction Manager to implement the project plan and achieve client milestones
• Act as the primary contact for the client's representatives, construction management team, and other stakeholders, maintaining open lines of communication and resolving issues promptly
• Participate in regular client and stakeholder meetings to report progress and address project concerns
• Oversee the mobilization and optimal use of labor, equipment, and materials in alignment with the project budget
• Monitor project expenses and track cost variances to ensure alignment with the approved budget
• Ensure all construction activities adhere to established quality standards and project specifications
• Enforce safety standards on-site and work with the Safety Manager to maintain a safe working environment
• Oversee the preparation and submission of billing documents and change order claims to the construction management teamle
• Lead and mentor the project team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

About you
