Nationstar Development Corporation is seeking a Project Manager in the Philippines to oversee planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of construction projects. You will manage resources, supervise site teams, and coordinate with clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure timely, on-budget delivery with quality and safety standards.
You will lead project teams, liaise with authorities for permits, review subcontractor bills, and prepare regular progress and financial reports.
Project Manager oversees the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards. This role involves managing resources, supervising site teams and subcontractors, and coordinating with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
Develop and execute project plans, including scope and schedule, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, specifications, and regulatory standards.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly.
Lead, guide and support Project Team to achieve project objectives.
Ensure that the construction methodology and workmanship of the project are implemented as per design and specifications, maintaining acceptable quality standards and applying good value engineering practices.
Provide technical advice throughout the duration of a construction project.
Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, issues, and financial status to upper management.
Ensure that the necessary labor, materials, and equipment are available and utilized efficiently.
Liaise with Client or Construction Management officials to secure necessary permits, approvals, and inspections.
Review evaluated subcontractor billing, ensuring that it aligns with the work accomplished.
Cost estimation for materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expenses, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
Review RFIs and RFAs to ensure that they are clear, concise, and directly address the issue or question at hand.
Must possess at least a Bachelor/College degree in Civil Engineering
Master’s Degree can be an advantage
At least 7 years experience in Project Management in Vertical Projects
Proven experience in handling government projects
Must have VALID RCE License
Demonstrated knowledge in construction, engineering and architecture principles
High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms and conditions
Strong leadership and management skills
