Job summary

NCS Philippines is seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master to lead end-to-end Agile delivery in a dynamic, AI-focused environment. You will coordinate sprint ceremonies, mentor teams, and collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

The role emphasizes SDLC mastery, cross-functional leadership, and effective communication in a fast-paced, global delivery context. A Scrum certification is required, with PM accreditation preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical project management and/or Scrum Master roles.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile project delivery in cross-functional environments.
• Certifications in Scrum (CSM/PSM) required; PMP/PRINCE2/CAPM preferred.
• Knowledge of SAFe, LeSS, and DevOps is advantageous.

Capability Requirements

The role requires strong capabilities in technical project management and Scrum, with hands-on experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, project planning, stakeholder management, and end-to-end project delivery. The role is expected to manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, quality, and dependencies while facilitating high-performing Agile teams and Scrum ceremonies. Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and quality while ensuring transparent stakeholder communication.

• Coordinate sprint activities and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, to support effective Agile delivery.

• Engage business stakeholders to build trust, manage expectations, and align project deliverables with business and strategic objectives.

• Identify, monitor, and elevate project risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact scope, timelines, cost, or quality.

• Collaborate with Product Owners to manage product backlogs, support prioritization, and ensure team readiness for sprint planning.

• Foster cross-functional collaboration across technical teams, platforms, and business units to improve coordination and delivery effectiveness.

• Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile best practices, Scrum principles, and project management methodologies.

• Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and quality of project documentation through regular validation and reviews throughout the project lifecycle.

• Mentor junior colleagues, facilitate knowledge sharing, and drive continuous improvement in team capabilities, Agile practices, and Scrum maturity.

Job Specifications

• Related Work Experience - Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical project management and/or Scrum Master roles, with demonstrated experience in SDLC and Agile project delivery.

  • Experience working with cross-functional technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Experience in global or shift-based delivery environments is an advantage.

• Certifications - Scrum certification (CSM or PSM) required.

  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM) preferred.

  • Advanced certifications such as PSM II, PMI-ACP, or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) are an advantage.

• Knowledge

  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
