Job summary

Chesneyvale (Philippines) Inc. in Metro Manila seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead office fit-out and refurbishment projects from award to hand-over, coordinating client communication, safety, construction management, subcontractor management, planning, materials, progress reporting and close-out.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree with a PRC license (PTR), 5+ years in a similar role, and familiarity with the National Building Code, Fire Code, Design Codes & OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and control productivity, progress and quality.
• Manage client coordination, communication and reporting.
• Lead site safety and security on projects.
• Handle RFI and submittal processes including approvals for samples, mock-ups and shop drawings.
• Plan admin manpower, material and equipment and allocate resources.
• Coordinate all subcontractors including off-site production.
• Identify changes to project scope and obtain approvals.
• Conduct weekly construction and safety meetings.

Job description

Summary

Manage office fit-out and refurbishment projects from notice of award to hand-over including client communication, safety, construction management, subcontractor/supplier management, project planning, material requests, progress reporting and close-out.

Responsibilities

- Plan, manage and control productivity, progress and quality

- Manage all Client coordination, communication and reporting

- Lead and manage site safety and security

- Manage RFI and submittal process including approvals for samples, mock-ups, shop drawings, etc

- Manage admin manpower, material and equipment planning and allocation

- Manage and coordinate all subcontractors works including off-site production

- Identify, document and seek approval for changes to project scope

- Conduct weekly construction and safety meetings

- Prepare weekly progress reports and look ahead

- Conduct regular safety audits in conjunction with HSE team

- Coordinate preparation and submission of as-built plans

- Finalize O&M manuals and conduct facility orientation and training

- Close-out final accounts for on time in full payment

Requirements

- Client facing PM experience

- Degree in Civil Engineering, valid PRC license (with PTR)

- 5+ years experience in a similar role in office fit-out, refurbishments or construction

- Familiar with National Building Code, Fire Code, Design Codes & OSHA standards
