Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks a senior leader to oversee a 20+ person program management team and enterprise portfolio. You will drive PMO governance, enable Azure DevOps adoption, and partner with C-suite on strategic initiatives.

The role requires extensive experience in program management, portfolio leadership, and executive collaboration, with night-shift exposure and a preference for hybrid/remote work.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in program management, PMO leadership, or portfolio management.
• 8+ years of project management experience.
• Proven experience managing 20+ people, incl. PMs.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Engineering, IT, CS, or related field.
• Strong people-management, coaching, and team development.
• Experience with PMO and enterprise portfolio governance.

About the role

The role requires a combination of strong people leadership, PMO/portfolio management expertise, leadership presence, and hands‑on Azure DevOps (ADO) governance experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop 20+ team members, including Project Managers.
• Build a high-performing PM organization with clear standards and accountability.
• Coach PMs on prioritization, stakeholder management, delivery, and escalation.
• Translate strategic priorities into structured programs and workstreams.
• Oversee an enterprise-wide portfolio of high-priority initiatives.
• Identify stalled, misaligned, or under-resourced programs and drive resolution.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies and competing priorities.

About you

• 10+ years in program management, PMO leadership, strategic operations, or portfolio management.
• 8+ years of project management experience.
• Proven experience managing 20+ people, including Project Managers.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong people-management skills, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
• Experience leading Project Managers and/or a PMO function.
• Experience overseeing an enterprise/company-wide portfolio.
• Strong Azure DevOps (ADO) experience, including driving adoption and governance across teams.
• Experience working directly with C-suite or senior executives.
• At least one recognized certification: PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM, SAFe/SPC, or equivalent PM/Agile certification.
