CDCC Builders Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer (Finishing & QA/QC) to implement the Quality Control Program for civil, structural and architectural works in line with plans and specifications.
The role involves coordinating costs and schedules, supervising finishing works, and conducting pre- and post-inspections with documentation and coordination with the Design Department. Strong communication and QA/QC focus are essential.
The Project Engineer (Finishing & QA/QC) is responsible for the implementation of Quality Control Program for civil/structural and architectural works to ensure conformance with plans & specifications.
Estimate, monitor & control architectural works (material, labor, equipment, & subcon)
Monitor actual costs and recommend cost-effective solutions to ensure alignment with the approved project budget.
Coordinate with the Cost & Schedule Engineer for the preparation of the baseline cost & schedule.
Prepare and submit request for materials, labor, equipment, & subcon.
Monitor and supervise finishing & architectural works.
Conduct pre- and post-inspections of civil, structural, architectural, and MEPFS works prior to CM inspection, including preparation of necessary inspection forms and documents.
Submit weekly finishing & architectural accomplishment.
Coordinate architectural changes with Design Department and CAD Operator for proper implementation and updating of as-built plans.
Recommend effective engineering solutions to field problems.
Review construction plans & specifications for basic compliance with the prevailing Code and Standards of Practice.
Inspect delivered materials for structural, architectural, finishing, and MEPFS works to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
Conduct QC inspection and testing for finishing & architectural works.
Ensure proper implementation of architectural and finishing works based on approved plans and specifications.
Turnover finishing & architectural works in accordance to plans & specifications.
Issue Certificate of Completion and Final Acceptance of contractors.
Responsible for the evaluation of Contractor's Performance Report.
Assist in overseeing health & safety standards on site.
Coordinate with concerned project personnel in addressing safety-related concerns affecting architectural and finishing works.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or any related field.
Possession of relevant professional certifications or licenses (i.e., Registered Civil Engineer, Registered Architect, etc.)
Has a minimum of 3 years experience in construction industry, preferably with exposure to quality assurance and quality control.
Has an in-depth knowledge of project scheduling and construction project management.
Proficiency in AutoCad, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and other engineering software tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
