About the role
Plans, organizes, and manages fire and security systems projects from award through completion, ensuring proper scope, scheduling, resources, risk identification, coordination, and documentation.
Key responsibilities
Leads and coordinates project personnel and monitors project implementation to ensure timely, efficient, and compliant execution of installation, testing, and commissioning activities
Oversees the technical implementation of fire and security systems, ensuring compliance with approved plans, specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements
Monitors project costs and budget utilization, coordinates project-related financial requirements, and manages variations, additional works, and potential cost implications
Coordinates the timely procurement and availability of materials, equipment, manpower, tools, and other resources necessary for successful project implementation
Ensures project activities, installation, workmanship, testing, and commissioning meet established quality standards, safety requirements, company procedures, and applicable regulations
Manages communication and coordination with clients and contractors, addresses concerns, provides project updates, and ensures expectations are properly managed
Ensures accurate, complete, and timely preparation and maintenance of project records, reports, technical documents, progress updates, and turnover requirements
Oversees project close-out, including completion of punch-list items, final testing and commissioning, client acceptance, submission of turnover documents, and coordination of warranty and post-project concerns
About you
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related field
At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in project management, construction, and engineering
Knowledge of fire and security systems, project planning and scheduling, budgeting and cost monitoring, procurement, technical drawings, and project documentation
Familiarity with applicable fire safety, building, electrical, and security standards and regulations
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Relevant professional licenses, project management training or certification, and fire and security systems certifications are considered an advantage
