BEYONDSIGHT PHILIPPINES, INC. is seeking a Project Manager to lead and deliver IT projects, coordinating teams to meet client requirements with quality, on time, and within budget.
You will gather and document business requirements, translate them into BRDs, manage the full project lifecycle using waterfall and agile, lead QA, report progress to executives, and maintain strong client relationships; occasional travel within the Philippines may be required.
The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and delivering projects to ensure that client requirements are met with the highest standards of quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness. The PM will attend client meetings, gather and document detailed business requirements, and translate these into comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRD) that serve as the foundation for project execution.
As a key member of the project team, the PM will actively contribute to project planning, manage assigned tasks, deliver outputs within agreed schedules and budgets, and maintain regular project status reporting to the project team and executive leadership. This role requires close collaboration with Sales, Finance, Operations, Suppliers, Technical Teams, and Executive Leadership to ensure seamless project execution. The position may also involve occasional travel within the Philippines.
Project Planning and Methodologies – including adherence to Project Management Professional (PMP) standards and Project Delivery Process (PDP) frameworks.
Project Schedule, Budget, and Resource Management – ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with proper resource allocation.
Project Reporting – providing regular, clear, and accurate updates to stakeholders, management, and clients.
Risk Management – identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to minimize project impact.
Project Evaluations and Continuous Improvement – conducting post-project evaluations and contributing to Project Management Office (PMO) process enhancements.
Manage end-to-end projects covering the full spectrum of:
a. Information Technology (software, hardware, and systems development)
b. Deployment activities including hardware testing, configuration, installation, and commissioning
Develop comprehensive project plans and ensure that project scope and objectives are clearly understood and agreed upon by all stakeholders.
Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle—including requirements analysis, system design, specifications, development, testing, and implementation—using both traditional waterfall methodologies and agile processes.
Lead and supervise the Quality Assurance (QA) team, including the creation of test documentation, monitoring of test execution, and reporting of results to technical architects and senior management.
Take full accountability for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with agreed quality standards.
Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to project staff by aligning their skills and interests with project needs.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks by implementing appropriate risk management strategies.
Analyze functional and technical issues, set priorities, and ensure timely resolution.
Provide expert recommendations on technical and functional issues to both clients and technical architects.
Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, and project status meetings with clients and internal project teams.
Maintain strong client relationships by ensuring effective communication through both formal reporting and informal updates.
Prepare detailed reports on project activities, milestones, and achievements; escalated issues requiring governance-level attention; and implement management decisions.
Bachelor’s/College Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Information Technology (IT), Business Administration (BA), Business Management (BM), or a related discipline.
Minimum of five (5) years’ professional experience in Project Management.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an advantage; experience with Project Operations and Management Processes (POMP) preferred.
Demonstrated strength in organizational, leadership, and resource management skills.
Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication.
High level of integrity, accountability, and reliability, with the ability to proactively flag delays, bottlenecks, or blockers.
Detail-oriented, results-driven, team-oriented, and self-motivated professional with strong business acumen and communication skills.
Proactive and independent, yet able to seek collaboration and assistance when necessary.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish credibility and build effective working relationships with colleagues, vendors, and stakeholders at all professional levels.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
