Overview

The Project Manager role is responsible for developing, managing, and executing project plans that meet the objectives of the organization. This involves tracking project progress, managing resources, and identifying and mitigating risks to ensure project success. The role also requires effective communication with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and clients, to keep them informed of project status, risks, and issues. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with project management standards, policies, and procedures, and developing and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and project closure reports. The role involves conducting project post-mortems to identify areas for improvement and share lessons learned with project teams and stakeholders. Ultimately, the Project Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, and driving the organization towards achieving its strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

Develop project plans, including goals, timelines, and budgets, and track project progress.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize their impact on the project.
Act as the liaison between business units and Software Services, facilitating communication and understanding across departments.
Ensure compliance with project management standards, policies, and procedures.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met according to the project plan.
Identify opportunities for project delivery improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and project closure reports.
Conduct project post-mortems to identify areas for improvement and share lessons learned with project teams and stakeholders.
Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software.
Facilitate project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status meetings, and project review meetings.
Support and manage Software Services projects from conception through to successful execution to ensure they deliver the expected value to the business within scheduled timelines and budgets.
Develop comprehensive documentation including system requirements, project deliverables, features, and user manuals.
Prepare regular reports detailing progress and adherence to goals.
Proven track record of successful project management and system integration.
Strong grasp of database management, software development life cycles, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Experience with project management software and tools like Jira or ClickUp.
Exposure to PostgreSQL and RPA Technologies is highly advantageous.
Knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
