Position Title: Project Manager
Department: Project Management / Operations
Reports To: Senior Management / Project Director
Employment Type: Full-time
The Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of projects in accordance with PMI’s PMBOK Guide standards. This role ensures that project objectives are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while balancing quality, risk, and stakeholder expectations.
1. Project Initiation & Planning
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Develop a detailed project management plan covering scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management.
- Prepare feasibility studies and business cases as required.
2. Project Execution
- Lead and motivate the project team, assigning tasks and ensuring accountability.
- Coordinate resources (internal and external) to achieve project deliverables.
- Manage supplier and contractor relationships, ensuring adherence to contracts and performance standards.
3. Monitoring & Control
- Track project progress using appropriate tools and techniques (e.g., Gantt charts, dashboards, earned value analysis).
- Manage project risks and issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Control changes through a structured change management process.
- Regularly update stakeholders through progress reports and status meetings.
4. Project Closure
- Ensure all deliverables are formally accepted by the client or sponsor.
- Conduct project closeout activities, including documentation, lessons learned, and financial closure.
- Transition project deliverables to operations or maintenance teams as applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, IT, or related field.
- PMI certification preferred (PMP, CAPM, or PgMP).
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience (construction, IT, engineering, or business projects).
- Proven experience in managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, Jira, Asana, or equivalent).

Work Location & Schedule
- Office-based and/or project site (as required).
- Standard working hours with flexibility depending on project needs (in compliance with the Labor Code of the Philippines).
