Job Summary
The IT Project Manager’s role is to manage projects from initial design and scope management, through execution and cost control, with regular quality and performance reporting to the company’s stakeholders. The role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals by leading the developers to deliver high quality software solutions to meet the customers’ needs.
Project Management
- Manage all aspects of diverse, complex IT projects, including project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality and cost.
- Apply project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
- Assemble project plans and teamwork assignments, directing work efforts on a daily basis, revising and adjusting as needed to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identify resource needs, perform quality review and escalate and/or resolve issues appropriately.
- Track down key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet project goals.
- Conducts risk monitoring and controls during a project’s duration to ensure ability to achieve expected outcomes, on time and on budget.
- Manage project budget and develop project estimates and forecasting.
People Management
- Utilize expertise and leadership skills to provide proper direction and mentoring to staff to ensure all project goals and timelines are met.
- Regularly communicate with the project team members, customers and stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information and status updates.
- Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project by assigning individual responsibilities to each member of the team to ensure accountability and timely meet all deadlines.
Reporting and Documentation
- Facilitate meetings including agendas and coordinating schedules and materials, documenting meeting minutes and following up on action items.
- Gather, organize and distribute project-related documentation.
- Submit weekly report on all ongoing projects to stakeholders.
A. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Management, Information Technology or its equivalent
- At least 1 year experience in Project Management, Requirement design, Process automation and optimization, Business Analysis, and/or Stakeholder/People Management
