Job summary

About the Role:

Contract Type: 12-month Contract

Job Purpose

Pacific Impact is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a utility-scale solar power plant in Sual, Pangasinan. This role will be responsible for managing the project across pre-construction, construction and commissioning phases, ensuring high standards in procurement, engineering, contractor coordination, safety, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee project mobilization and initial setup from the Makati office
  • Manage procurement planning and execution
  • Lead engagement and selection of local contractors and service providers
  • Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and documentation are prepared for site work
  • Develop and monitor project schedules and budgets in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Oversee onsite execution of all EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) activities
  • Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
  • Implement and monitor safety (HSE) and quality control systems
  • Resolve site issues and maintain continuous alignment with project goals
  • Provide regular progress reports and updates to company leadership
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine construction regulations and solar project standards

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience managing large-scale infrastructure or energy projects; solar project experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Philippine construction laws, permitting processes, and regulatory compliance
  • Relevant certifications in project management and/or construction in the Philippines (e.g., PRC, PCAB, or PMP a plus)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
  • Willingness to relocate to Sual, Pangasinan during the construction phase
