Job summary

Solarvest is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead solar PV projects in Makati and surrounding areas. You will drive projects from confirmation through completion, conduct site surveys, and coordinate design with engineers.

You will manage material purchases and subcontracting via ERP, liaise with departments and authorities, and oversee testing, commissioning, and post-project reviews. A strong safety, quality, and regulatory focus is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ project management experience, preferably in solar PV, renewable energy, or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of solar PV system design, installation and commissioning would be added advantage.
  • Experience with ERP systems, contractor management, and project scheduling.
  • Familiarity with local authorities, licensing, and grid interconnection.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the end-to-end process of the project assigned from project confirmation up to project completion.
  • Conduct engineering site survey for solar PV system installation.
  • Coordinate with designer on the design of the solar PV system including but not limited to electrical, structural and mechanical.
  • Plan and manage material purchase and subcontract via ERP system.
  • Liaise closely with inter departments involved for the project completion.
  • Liaise and manage sub-contractors for their scope of works, schedules and monitoring workmanship qualities or subcontractors during installation.
  • Work with internal and/or external parties such as TNB, consulting firms, local authorities licensing matters and documentation.
  • Liaise and coordinate with TNB HQ & local authorities on meter installation and grid interconnection of solar PV system.
  • Setup remote monitoring system and conduct test & commissioning of the solar PV system.
  • Weekly reporting and new project scheduling.
  • To assist on the best practices and safe work procedure for every project.
  • Organize a post mortem meeting for evaluation of project results, challenges faced and provide recommendations for future improvement.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  2. Minimum 3 years’ project management experience, preferably in solar PV, renewable energy, or construction.
  3. Strong knowledge of solar PV system design, installation, and commissioning would be added advantage.
  4. Experience with ERP systems, contractor management, and project scheduling.
  5. Familiarity with local authorities, licensing, and grid interconnection.
  6. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  7. Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  8. Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong can-do attitude.
  9. Based in Makati. Willingness to travel to project sites.
