NOTE: Free on-site staff accommodation provided.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the execution of a world-class ground-mounted Solar Power Plant (PV) project. The successful candidate will oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring timely, safe, and high-quality project delivery for one of the largest solar farm power plants being developed. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and hands‑on experience completing large-scale solar farm projects. (We are hiring 5 individuals for this role.)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, supervise, and manage all construction activities for the Solar PV project, ensuring alignment with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Oversee site teams, contractors, and subcontractors; ensure efficient resource allocation and productivity.
- Drive daily project execution, monitor progress, and resolve operational issues to avoid delays and maintain cost discipline.
- Conduct routine site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering designs and construction methodologies.
- Implement strong safety practices and uphold a culture of compliance and accountability on-site.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and project management teams to ensure smooth workflow and consistent project updates.
- Support commissioning, handover, and final project completion activities.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project leadership and stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3 years of experience constructing and completing ground-mounted Solar Power Plant or Solar Farm projects ( required ).
- Preferably a Licensed Civil Engineer.
- Proven leadership and people management experience, with the ability to supervise large cross-functional site teams.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site management, and EPC project execution.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work onsite in Nueva Ecija.
- Willing to accept a project-based employment term.
