Qualifications

  • Graduate of Civil Engineering or a related construction field.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Project-In-Charge in the glass and aluminum industry.
  • Strong knowledge of glass and aluminum fabrication, installation methods, and industry standards.
  • Proficient in project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Skilled in technical documentation and site coordination.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledgeable in safety protocols and compliance.
  • Willing to travel to various project sites (75%).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of glass and aluminum installation projects while ensuring cost-efficiency, safety, and quality.
  • Coordinate and secure client/consultant approvals for shop drawings, structural calculations, method statements, project schedules, quality plans, and material submittals.
  • Supervise site operations and verify that all works comply with design, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor material deliveries, ensure proper handling of glass and aluminum products, and prevent installation delays.
  • Manage manpower, tools, and equipment requirements on-site.
  • Maintain updated logs and documentation, including shop drawings, RFIs/RFAs, variation orders, billing, and correspondences.
  • Liaise with main contractors, consultants, and other trades to resolve conflicts and ensure smooth project flow.
  • Attend technical, coordination, and progress meetings with stakeholders.
  • Prepare accomplishment reports for billing and client review; evaluate subcontractor billings.
  • Ensure proper turnover and handover of completed works.
  • Uphold good working relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners.

23,000-30,000 depends on the year of experience
