Job summary

VTSA International Inc. – Davao Branch is seeking a Project Engineer to manage elevator installation projects from planning through turnover at our Davao City site.

You will coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has a relevant engineering degree, familiarity with reading drawings and specifications, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience in elevator, construction, engineering, or project management is preferred.
• Fresh graduates welcome with strong technical knowledge and willingness to learn.
• Able to read technical drawings and project specifications.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to conduct site visits and fieldwork.
• Willing to be assigned in Davao City.

Job Summary

The Project Engineer is responsible for managing and monitoring elevator installation projects from planning to completion. The role ensures that project activities are executed according to approved plans, technical specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines. The position involves coordinating with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project implementation and successful project turnover.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise elevator installation projects, ensuring completion within the approved schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams regarding project requirements and updates.

Review project plans, technical drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.

Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to management.

Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Coordinate delivery, mobilization, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.

Supervise and provide technical guidance to installation teams, technicians, and subcontractors.

Identify project risks, delays, and technical concerns, and recommend appropriate solutions.

Ensure proper documentation of project activities, including reports, inspection records, and turnover documents.

Coordinate with the Testing and Commissioning team for system testing and final acceptance.

Attend project meetings and provide technical updates to stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with company policies, engineering standards, and client requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Preferably with experience in elevator, construction, engineering, or project management industries.

Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
