Job summary

Concepcion Industrial Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer to lead elevator and escalator installation and modernization projects across assigned sites in the Philippines. The role emphasizes on-time delivery, adherence to budget, and strict safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree, at least two years in project management within construction, and familiarity with ERP and MS Project to coordinate field teams and formal reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering (or related field) required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in project management within construction/building solutions.
• Background in elevator or escalator systems is a strong advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, architectural plans, and engineering schematics.
• Familiarity with MS Project and ERP systems is an advantage.

Job description

The Project Engineer is responsible for the installation of elevator and escalator units or the execution of elevator/escalator modernization plans, on time and within the budget.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Managing and overseeing the installation of new elevator and escalator equipment, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Providing technical guidance and support to installation teams, and conducting inspections to ensure installations meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations.
• Ensuring flawless execution of each project by completing on schedule, within budget, and ensuring all technical & safety standards, regulatory compliance requirements, and customer expectations are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering graduates are highly preferred.)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in project management within the construction or building solutions industry.
• Background in elevator or escalator systems is a strong advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, architectural plans, and engineering schematics.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.
• Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willing to travel and handle fieldwork; residency near the assigned area of coverage is preferred.
