Concepcion Business Services, Inc. seeks skilled installers for OTIS elevator, escalator, and moving walkway projects across the Philippines. You will read drawings, assemble components, and conduct pre-installation inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
Role requires 1–2 years in mechanical/electrical installation and comfort with working at heights. Travel to various project sites nationwide is expected; safety and teamwork are essential to success.
Perform installation of elevator, escalator, and moving walkway units as per approved project plans and OTIS installation standards.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Assemble mechanical and electrical components including guide rails, car frames, door operators, control panels, and hoist machinery.
Conduct pre-installation site inspections to verify shaft/well conditions, alignment, plumbness, and code compliance.
Coordinate with Project Engineers and Field Engineers to ensure timely and accurate completion of installation work.
Complete punch lists related to mechanical and electrical works in compliance with OTIS standards and safety requirements.
Observe and strictly follow all safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, use of PPE, and site safety protocols.
Identify and report installation issues, defects, or deviations from specifications to the supervising engineer.
Participate in commissioning, testing, and handover of installed units.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on-site at all times.
Collaborate with other trades on-site (civil, electrical, mechanical) as required.
Graduate of BS Electrical Engineering, BS Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related technical/vocational course or High School Graduate.
TESDA NC II certification in Electrical Installation and Maintenance or equivalent is an advantage.
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in mechanical/electrical installation work; experience in elevator/escalator installation is a strong advantage.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Knowledge of basic electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, and troubleshooting.
Physical fitness to perform fieldwork, including working at heights, confined spaces, and in varying site conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work on various project sites nationwide; willing to be assigned and/or relocate as needed.
