Job summary

Geoquest in Philippines seeks a Project Engineer to lead the construction team on site and manage day-to-day on-site activities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

To liaise with the main contractor on site for daily activity.
To supervise and monitor the site labor force.
To oversee storage and use of materials delivered on site.
To organize plant, materials deliveries and site facilities to meet deadlines.
To ensure materials used and work performed meet specs and drawings.
To ensure current shop drawings are used and work follows them.
To ensure QC forms are filled and records kept per Quality Plan.
To oversee health and safety matters on site.
To resolve daily technical difficulties or other problems.
To report unresolved issues to the sites manager.
To ensure HSE procedures on site are implemented.

Job Purpose/Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities:

To liaise with the main contractor on site for daily activity
To supervise and monitor the site labor force
To oversee the storage and use of materials delivered on site
To efficiently organize the plant , materials deliveries and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
To ensure all materials used and work performed are as per the specifications and drawings
To ensure only current shop drawings are used and work is executed as per these shop drawings
To ensure that all quality control forms are filled out and records are managed as per the Project Quality Plan.
To oversee health and safety matters on site
To resolve any small technical difficulties or other problems that may arise on a daily basis
To report any difficulty or issue that is not resolved immediately to the sites manager
To ensure implementation of the HSE procedures on site
