Job summary

Trends Group, Inc. in the Philippines seeks a competent Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction monitoring on the assigned site. You will coordinate with contractors to resolve construction-related concerns and ensure work progresses on schedule and within budget.

The successful candidate will direct project staff, prepare two-week look-ahead schedules, and assist the Project Manager in monitoring project construction activities, applying plans, and addressing delays as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or secondary level education required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in this position.
• Proficient in written and oral communication; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Handles day-to-day construction monitoring of the site assigned and coordinates with contractor for construction-related concerns.
• Directs and coordinates project employees to ensure progress on schedule and within budget; assigns personnel for shifts when necessary.
• Assists the Project Manager in preparing, monitoring and maintaining the project construction schedules and related activities.
• Prepares and provides at least two weeks look-ahead site activity schedule based on the Project Manager’s schedule.
• Reviews and checks plans for inconsistencies versus on-site implementation and reports to Project Manager for evaluation.
• Implements action plans to address delays due to weather or site emergencies.

Job description

I. PURPOSE

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handles the day-to-day construction monitoring of the Site assigned. Directly coordinates with contractor for all construction related concerns.

• Directs and coordinates of Project Employees (Engineering, General Foremen/Foremen of different trades) to ensure that project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget; assigns an engineer or personnel-in- charge for shifting schedules when necessary.

• Assists the Project Manager in the preparation, monitoring and maintenance of the project construction in accordance with its schedules, plan specifications, and other related activities.

• Prepares and provides at least two weeks look ahead site activity schedule based on the schedule provided by the Project Manager.

• Reviews and checks plan for any inconsistencies versus on-site implementation and report to Project Manager for proper evaluation.

• Implements action plans to deal with the delays (e.g. bad weather or emergencies at construction site

III. QUALIFICATIONS

A. Minimum Education – A bachelor’s degree or Secondary Level.

B. Minimum Experience/Training - Minimum of 3 years' experience in this position.
