The Project Development Associate will support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of Mimosa projects, with a particular focus on retail development and leasing-related activities. The role involves preparing project briefs, conducting market studies, monitoring leasing inventory and project milestones, and coordinating with tenants and internal departments to support timely project execution. The position will also require preparing management reports and presentations, conducting site oculars, and coordinating with cross-functional teams such as Technical, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Mall, Hospitality, Industrial, and Sales Administration.
Prepare comprehensive project briefs summarizing key project details, positioning, timelines, and assumptions for internal presentation and approvals.
Conduct market studies on retail trends, competition, end-users, pricing, consumer behavior, and location potential to support feasibility and strategy.
Maintain and monitor budget, lot inventory, and leasing trackers.
Support overall project monitoring efforts, including conducting site oculars and reporting on planning, construction, fit-out, and turnover status.
Coordinate and participate in tenant calls or meetings, addressing tenant queries, onboarding requirements, leasing documentation, and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Liaise with cross-functional departments (e.g., Estate, Legal, Sales and Marketing, Technical, Finance, Mall, Hospitality, Industrial) and government agencies to ensure seamless documentation, approvals, and project execution.
Prepare and update trackers, pipeline reports, and other required documentation for project and executive reporting.
Reporting & Presentation: Capable of drafting project reports, leasing trackers, and management presentations; highly proficient in MS Excel for data analysis and monitoring.
Project Management: Proven ability to take ownership of and monitor project timelines, deliverables, site activities, and cross-functional action items.
Stakeholder Communication: Strong written and verbal communication for coordinating with tenants, clients, and executives, adjusting information based on the audience.
Market Research: Experienced in conducting market studies, competitor reviews, location assessments, and feasibility analysis to influence commercial decisions.
Education: Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Management, or Marketing.
Experience & Industry: Preferably 2+ years of Project Development experience (retail, leasing, site activities) within real estate, mall operations, or hospitality. Candidates with slightly lower tenure but comparable project scopes and strong technical evidence across all competencies may still be considered.
