Remark Steel Structure Corporation in Pasig seeks a Design Coordinator / Project Coordinator to link the design team, engineers, PMs, site personnel, clients and consultants. You will manage day-to-day coordination of design activities, technical documents and project schedules to ensure every deliverable is accurate, fully coordinated, approved and delivered on time.
The ideal candidate has a Civil/Architectural/Structural background with 2-3 years in design coordination, solid drawing
The Design Coordinator / Project Coordinator is the key link between the design team, engineers, project managers, site personnel, clients, consultants and subcontractors. The role manages the day-to-day coordination of design activities, technical documents and project schedules to ensure every deliverable is accurate, fully coordinated, approved and delivered on time.
Coordinate architectural, structural and other design activities across all project phases, serving as the central contact for engineers, draftsmen, PMs, site teams, clients and consultants.
Review drawings and design documents for accuracy, completeness and compliance; identify discrepancies and clashes and support the technical team in resolving them.
Manage design changes and communicate revisions promptly to all concerned teams.
Track drawing submissions, revisions, approvals and technical comments; keep document registers and the project filing system up to date.
Prepare and maintain reports, transmittals, RFIs, minutes of meeting and other technical records.
Monitor schedules, milestones and design deliverables, flagging potential delays early; follow up on pending drawings, approvals, materials and requirements.
Attend coordination meetings and track action items through to closure.
Work with site personnel on design-related concerns during construction and support the Project Manager in monitoring progress.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering or a related field.
2-3 years' experience in design/project coordination, engineering or construction; structural steel or building projects highly preferred.
Solid knowledge of construction drawings and technical specifications.
Proficient in AutoCAD; Tekla, Revit or MS Project is an advantage.
Strong coordination, communication, follow-up and organizational skills; able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Willing to travel to project sites when required.
