Job summary

Remark Steel Structure Corporation in Pasig seeks a Design Coordinator / Project Coordinator to link the design team, engineers, PMs, site personnel, clients and consultants. You will manage day-to-day coordination of design activities, technical documents and project schedules to ensure every deliverable is accurate, fully coordinated, approved and delivered on time.

The ideal candidate has a Civil/Architectural/Structural background with 2-3 years in design coordination, solid drawing

Qualifications

2-3 years' experience in design/project coordination, engineering or construction; structural steel or building projects highly preferred.
Solid knowledge of construction drawings and technical specifications.
Proficient in AutoCAD; Tekla, Revit or MS Project is an advantage.
Strong coordination, communication, follow-up and organizational skills; able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Willing to travel to project sites when required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate architectural, structural and other design activities across all project phases.
Review drawings and design documents for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
Manage design changes and communicate revisions promptly to all teams.
Track drawing submissions, revisions, approvals and comments; keep registers up to date.
Prepare and maintain reports, transmittals, RFIs, minutes of meeting and other records.
Monitor schedules, milestones and design deliverables; flag delays early.
Attend coordination meetings and track action items through to closure.
Work with site personnel on design-related concerns during construction and support PMs.
