About the role
The Project Control Engineer is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and controlling project schedules, costs, resources, progress, and documentation to ensure that projects are completed within the approved scope, budget, and schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules, work programs, and project milestones.
- Monitor actual project progress against approved schedules and identify delays, slippages, and potential schedule risks.
- Prepare regular project progress reports, dashboards, and other management reports for monitoring and decision-making.
- Monitor project costs, commitments, expenditures, and budget utilization against approved project budgets.
- Identify and report cost variances and provide supporting analysis and recommendations.
- Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, contractors, suppliers, and other concerned personnel to obtain accurate and timely project updates.
- Consolidate project accomplishment data, including physical progress, manpower utilization, materials, equipment, and other project resources.
- Assist in the preparation and updating of project forecasts, including estimated completion dates, resource requirements, and projected costs.
- Monitor project deliverables, target dates, and outstanding activities to ensure timely completion.
- Identify potential project risks, constraints, and issues that may affect project cost, schedule, or implementation and coordinate appropriate action plans.
About you
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Computer Literate, Effective Communication Skills and Management Skills
- Preferably 6 months experience in the same field
