Philux, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented designer/Project Coordinator to support product development and showroom projects. You will monitor new products, coordinate with Production and Sales, and assist in sourcing materials and moodboards.
You will manage VIP projects, prepare drawings and prototypes, attend weekly retail meetings, and maintain organized R&D files to ensure timely delivery and quality standards across departments.
Product development:
Monitor and track all new products in development simultaneously, and coordinate with the Production team until the completion of products.
Update and present progress status reports for each product weekly during R&D meetings.
Orient and coordinate the production and sales team on new products.
Assist in sourcing materials, suppliers, etc.
Projects/VIP clients:
Manage Philux Project coordination
Monitor and track status, coordinate with Production and with third party suppliers.
Direct communication with clients and suppliers.
Site meetings / meetings outside head office
May require floor plan drawings, moodboards.
Sourcing of materials and communication with suppliers.
Assist in monitoring progress status of the project
Manage and organize R&D files and documents
Ensure completeness of all details on drawings and prototypes
Attend weekly retail meetings where each team member updates the group on the status of department-related tasks/projects.
Brainstorm and assist the team on the general creative direction of photoshoots/seasonal displays of showrooms. You may be asked to create the mood board for these. You will help propose and put together consignment products for these projects.
Be present and assist at photoshoots, seasonal display installations
Retail Admin work and support: create/update specifications sheets, and Sales memos regarding new / improved items, onsite / showroom visits
Other tasks that may be assigned by management or immediate supervisor
Education: Minimum College degree graduate, preferably Architecture, Interior Design or equivalent.
