But First, Coffee Inc. seeks a Project Manager/Coordinator to lead construction, renovation, and store development projects from planning through completion.
You will coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timelines and requirements are met. You will monitor schedules, conduct site visits, and oversee permits and documentation, ensuring progress aligns with approved plans and budgets.
Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring construction, renovation, and store development projects from planning through completion.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, building administrators, and internal teams to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
Monitor project schedules, site progress, deliverables, and project requirements, and **escalate** delays or concerns when necessary.
Conduct regular site visits to check project progress and ensure work is aligned with approved plans and requirements.
Assist in coordinating permits, documentation, and other administrative requirements related to projects.
Coordinate directly with contractors and suppliers on project scope, timelines, materials, site requirements, and other project concerns.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure work is executed according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and agreed timelines.
Assist in resolving site issues by coordinating with contractors, building administration, Operations, and other stakeholders.
Review quotations, progress updates, material proposals, and other project-related submissions.
Maintain organized project records, plans, quotations, site reports, and other documentation.
Study and understand But First, Coffee's brand identity, customer experience, and operational requirements to help establish a consistent architectural and store design direction.
Assist in developing and maintaining architectural and store design standards aligned with BFC's brand and operational requirements.
Help evaluate proposed layouts, materials, finishes, fixtures, signage, and other design elements for consistency, functionality, and feasibility.
Work with Operations and other stakeholders to ensure that store designs support actual workflow, equipment requirements, customer flow, and overall store functionality.
Contribute to improving standard design solutions that can be applied across BFC's new and existing locations.
Prepare and maintain project trackers, timelines, progress reports, site inspection reports, and other project documentation.
Assist in monitoring project costs, variations, and additional requirements against approved budgets.
Provide regular project updates to management, including progress, issues, risks, and items requiring attention.
Document project learnings and recommendations to improve future construction and renovation projects.
Perform other related duties/responsibilities assigned by the management.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
PRC-licensed Architect is an advantage but not required.
Preferably 1-3 years of relevant experience in project management, construction, fit-out, renovation, architecture, or store development.
Experience working and coordinating with contractors, suppliers, building administrators, and internal operations teams is highly preferred.
Experience in construction, fit-out, or retail/store development is a strong advantage.
Ability to read and understand architectural, engineering, and technical plans.
Strong project coordination, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to conduct regular site visits and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
