Job summary

Responsibilities

• Coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects.

• Ensures assigned personnel coordinate activities and meet contract requirements.
• Identifies mechanical problems and initiates corrective actions.
• Meeting with stakeholders to discuss construction designs.
• Drafting mechanical plans for restaurant construction projects.
• Preparing budgets, material documents, and spec lists for approval.
• Acting as intermediary between stakeholders, contractor, and construction team.
• Overseeing building contractors and construction crews.
• Visiting site regularly to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Ensuring project remains on time and within specs.
• Creating progress reports, time schedules, and revised budgets.
• Conducting final inspections after project completion.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by department head.

PRIMARY FUNCTION

• Responsible for coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects.

• Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned engineering work; monitors work for compliance with applicable codes, and accepted engineering practices;

• ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project participants.

• ensure that all assigned personnel are coordinating their activities with other project participants and that the requirements of the Contract are being satisfied.

• Identifies technical problems that are developing in mechanical aspects, and initiates appropriate corrective actions.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
