Job summary

Ong Hoa Architectural Design Services in Metro Manila is seeking a qualified Architect to lead and manage assigned architectural projects from concept through construction documentation.

You will translate conceptual designs into detailed architectural solutions, coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors, and ensure design intent is maintained while meeting regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage assigned architectural projects from inception to construction phase.
• Translate conceptual designs into detailed architectural solutions and drawings.
• Prepare and review design presentations and client submissions.
• Coordinate with structural, MEPF, fire protection, and specialty consultants.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress to ensure quality.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and ensure code compliance.
• Mentor junior architects and draftsmen and support BIM workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead and manage assigned architectural projects.


• Develop project schedules and monitor deliverables.


• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government agencies.


• Attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes when required.


• Monitor project progress and report status to management.

Design Development

• Translate conceptual designs into detailed architectural solutions.


• Prepare and review design presentations and client submissions.


• Ensure design intent is maintained throughout project development.


• Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEPF, fire protection, and specialty consultants.

Technical Documentation

• Prepare, review, and supervise production of:

  • As-Built Drawings
  
  
  • Ensure drawing quality, accuracy, and completeness.

Construction Administration

• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress.


• Prepare Site Observation Reports.


• Respond to RFIs and contractor queries.


• Review change orders and variation requests.


• Verify work accomplishments and project compliance.

Quality Control

• Implement company QA/QC standards.


• Conduct drawing reviews before issuance.


• Ensure consistency with office standards and BIM/CAD protocols.

Team Leadership

• Supervise Junior Architects, Architectural Designers, and Draftsmen.


• Delegate tasks and monitor team performance.


• Mentor team members and support professional development.


• Assist in training on Archicad, BIM workflows, and office standards.
