The ideal candidate has a mechanical or civil engineering background, 5+ years in heavy industry, and proven ability to manage maintenance budgets, schedules and capital projects within a cement environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years in project and maintenance engineering in cement plants or similar heavy industrial environments.
• Proven experience managing major maintenance projects and capital improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of cement production processes, equipment and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in equipment condition monitoring, vibration analysis and reliability engineering principles.
• Excellent project management skills including scheduling, budgeting and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute maintenance activities across cement plant equipment to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and protocols for critical plant systems.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and structural equipment issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align maintenance with production schedules.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs and project documentation.
• Identify opportunities for plant upgrades and implement process improvements.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project and Maintenance Engineer with Cement Plant experience to join SABPPTECH SERVICES INCORPORATED in Santo Tomas City, Batangas. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance and improvement of cement plant-related projects.

As a Project and Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, managing engineering projects, and ensuring that all plant equipment and systems operate at peak efficiency. This role is essential to our operations, contributing directly to plant reliability, safety and productivity objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute maintenance activities across cement plant equipment and infrastructure to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and protocols for all critical plant systems
• Identify, diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and structural equipment issues
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure maintenance activities align with production schedules
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs and project documentation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in project and maintenance engineering, specifically within cement plant or similar heavy industrial environments
• Proven experience managing major maintenance projects and capital improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of cement production processes, equipment and industry best practices
• Proficiency in equipment condition monitoring, vibration analysis and reliability engineering principles
• Excellent project management skills, including experience with scheduling, budgeting and resource management
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems and structural components common in cement plants
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Full professional engineering license or equivalent qualification is preferred
• Experience with AutoCAD or other technical design software is advantageous
