Job summary

ALLIED SEARCH PTE. LTD. is seeking a Programme Associate for its nursing home-based operations. You will carry out activities prescribed by registered therapists, set up rooms, transport residents to activities, and assist with afternoon tea routines, while supporting infection control practices and general care duties.

You will also record attendance, manage equipment inventories, assist with administrative tasks, and participate in company events as directed by the Allied Health Manager.

Qualifications

• Min. N Level qualification.
• Prior healthcare working experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out meaningful activities prescribed by registered therapists, including outings, art and music programmes, cooking, arts & crafts, mahjong and special events.
• Set up activity rooms and prepare the necessary equipment, including transporting residents to the gym or activity areas as scheduled.
• Conduct general body conditioning exercises and assist residents with their nutritional needs during afternoon tea breaks.
• Record resident attendance and maintain an inventory of activity equipment.
• Assist the nursing team with tidying communal areas and maintain cleanliness by disinfecting activity equipment, cleaning and drying mops, and ensuring hand soap is adequately stocked.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and protocols at all times.
• Participate in and support company events, perform related administrative duties and undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the Allied Health Manager.
