Job summary

ALLIED SEARCH PTE. LTD. in the Philippines is seeking a Staff Nurse (Palliative) to provide holistic nursing care to patients in their homes.

You will perform assessments, develop care plans, conduct home visits, and manage symptoms with a focus on comfort and quality of life. You will educate families, guide caregivers on medication and equipment use, and collaborate with doctors to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a Diploma in Nursing and registered with Singapore Nursing Board.
• At least 3 years of working experiences in inpatient / geriatric ward.
• Candidates who possesses Advanced Diploma is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic and patient-centred palliative nursing care to patients in their homes.
• Conduct nursing assessments and develop individualised care plans based on patients’ needs.
• Perform home visits to monitor patients’ conditions, symptoms, and care requirements.
• Provide symptom management, medication administration, wound care, and other nursing procedures.
• Collaborate with doctors and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate and review patients’ care.
• Provide education, counselling, and emotional support to patients and their families or caregivers.
• Guide caregivers on home nursing care, medication management, symptom monitoring, and medical equipment use.
• Support patients and families with end‑of-life care planning and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with nursing standards and procedures.
• Guide and support junior nursing or care staff where required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Nurse Manager.
