Job summary

Umpisa Inc. in the Philippines is seeking an experienced senior program/solution leader to plan, monitor, and manage complex IT programs within financial services.

You will coordinate with IT, business units, and external vendors to ensure milestones and budgets are met while delivering core banking transformations. The role requires 15+ years of relevant experience, including leadership of multi-vendor projects and a strong background in Cash Management solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Over 8 years in IT development and/or solution delivery for financial services.
• Experience implementing Cash Management solutions in financial institutions.
• Deep technology background with good understanding of software and vendor landscapes.
• Led a team of at least 5 across developers/analysts/delivery managers for 6+ months projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between IT, business units, executive management and external vendors, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
• Experience implementing Loan Origination and Loan Management in financial institutions.
• Identify and monitor risks and issues, working with teams to develop options and corrective measures.
• Provide comprehensive progress reports to senior management and governance forums.
• Facilitate training and change management for smooth adoption of the new core banking system.

Job Summary

Planning the overall program, monitoring the progress, and managing the budget, ensuring progress against important milestones where consistent and coordinated implementation is required

Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between IT, business units, executive management, and external vendors. Ensure clear communication, manage expectations, and build strong relationships
• Experienced in implementing Loan Origination Loan Management in financial institutions
• Identify and monitor risks and issues risks associated with the program and taking corrective measures including working with teams to develop solution options
• Provide comprehensive reports on program progress, challenges, and achievements to senior management and other key stakeholders as well as to governance forums
• Facilitate training and change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of the new core banking system by all users

Minimum Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree relevant to the job.
• 15+ years of relevant experience
• Over 8 years of experience in IT development and/or solution delivery for financial services
• Experienced in implementing Cash Management solution/s in financial institutions
• Deep technology background with good understanding of SW and Vendor landscapes
• Have led a team of minimum 5 composed of developers/analyst/project and/or delivery managers leading to a successful deployment of projects of more than 6 months' duration
• Worked with multi-3rd party vendor arrangements and has the ability to shape up and manage the statement of work up to delivery
