Job summary

Umpisa Inc. is seeking a seasoned Business/Systems Analyst to join our team in the Philippines. You will lead requirements gathering, create US and acceptance criteria, and drive UAT scripts and training materials within a scaled Agile environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in related roles, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with banking processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver high-impact solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in requirements gathering and systems analysis, release management, project management, or service transition.
• Experience with Banking domain processes (loans or deposits).
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills when working with technical personnel and end-users at multiple levels.
• Experience with problem solving, workflow analysis, process redesign, user training, and documentation.
• Advanced knowledge of software development life cycle.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams toward task completion.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed user stories (US) and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare Business Requirements Documents where applicable.
• Develop UAT scripts, KT documents, user manuals, and training materials.
• Align with Software/Product Development Lifecycle and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
• Support cross-functional collaboration with clients and internal teams.

Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

He/she shall also be responsible in the preparation of the following deliverables, in connection with assigned Project:

• Creation of detailed user stories (US) and acceptance criteria
• Business Requirements Document (when applicable)
• UAT test scripts, KT Documents, User Manuals, and Training Materials
• Software and/or Product Development Lifecycle
• Agile/Scrum Framework knowledge and experience
• Good analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in requirements gathering and systems analysis, release management, project management, or service transition
• Experience working with various business processes in the domains of Banking (loans or deposits)
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills for working with technical personnel and end-users at multiple levels
• Experience with problem solving, workflow systems analysis, process redesign, user training, and documentation
• Advanced knowledge of software development life cycle
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross functional work teams toward task completion
• General PC knowledge including MS Office
• ITIL certification is a nice to have skill
• Nice to have experience with deploying packaged applications
