The role oversees end-to-end delivery across a distributed team in the Philippines, India, and Singapore.

The ideal candidate has extensive PM experience in core banking, strong stakeholder management, and multi-vendor leadership. Hybrid work arrangement and day shift are offered.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in Project/Program Management with core banking delivery.

The Role

We are looking for a senior Project Manager to own end-to-end delivery of the Philippines Core Banking Transformation program. This is a complex, multi-phase, multivendor engagement spanning Trade Finance, Lending, CASA, and Payments, delivered by a distributed team across the Philippines, India, and Singapore.

Your Responsibilities

• MULTIVENDOR, MULTI-COUNTRY TEAM LEADERSHIP
  • Lead a distributed team (Domain lead, PMO, Solution Architect, Security Architect) plus domain SMEs and BAs.
  • Coordinate delivery across Philippines, India, and Singapore hubs, resolving time-zone, resourcing, and hand-off friction between locations.
  • Manage multiple vendors and product partners (core banking, payments, and trade platform providers) to a single delivery plan and a single set of commitments.
  • Ensure smooth on-the-ground coordination, and client team management.
• GOVERNANCE & STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
  • Act as the primary delivery point of contact for the project and collaborate with client executive stakeholders.
  • Run structured governance: weekly outcomes, phase-gate reviews, and clear escalation paths to delivery leadership.
  • Present progress, risks, and decisions to executive stakeholders in a concise, business-first format.
  • Identify and manage programme risk, including regulatory considerations relevant to Philippine banking operations.
• PROGRAMME & DELIVERY MANAGEMENT
  • Own the delivery plan across all phases including the week-by-week execution roadmap.
  • Track effort, budget, and schedule against the person-month plan and proactively manage variances.
  • Manage scope and change control across FSD/ISD, fit-gap analysis, and implementation roadmaps.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 10 - 15 years of overall Project / Program Management experience, including delivery ownership of at least one large-scale Core Banking implementation end-to-end.
• Demonstrated experience managing Pre-Study → Estimate/Approval → Implementation lifecycles in a banking or financial services environment.
• Working understanding of Trade Finance, Lending, CASA, and Payments domains able to converse credibly with SMEs and challenge estimates.
• Proven experience managing multivendor and multi-country / distributed delivery teams (onshore/offshore models).
• Strong command of project financials, resource planning, and effort tracking in person-months.
• Experience with core banking and adjacent platforms such as Flexcube, ACBS, Trade 360, Murex, or Finastra GPP (direct implementation experience or close oversight).
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills; comfortable running governance with senior banking executives.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• Prior experience in the Philippines banking sector is a strong plus.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, IT, Engineering, or Finance); MBA or equivalent is a plus.
