Job summary

Biji-biji Initiative is seeking a Senior Associate for Project Management to support end-to-end programme planning, coordination, and delivery. You will collaborate with partners, sponsors, and government stakeholders to ensure quality and impact, while aligning with the organization’s mission.

The role emphasizes driving improvements, coordinating across operations, finance, branding, and communications, and supporting reporting and evaluation across programmes in the Philippines and region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in project or programme delivery.
• Experience organizing and delivering workshops or community activities as part of an ongoing programme.
• Excellent written and verbal English; ability to produce concept notes and progress reports.
• Based in the Philippines; willingness to travel within the Philippines and region.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager in full-cycle programme implementation, from planning, budgeting, and stakeholder alignment to delivery and evaluation, ensuring quality, timelines, and fiscal discipline.
• Assist in developing concept notes and progress reports that meet stakeholder, funder, and organizational requirements.
• Conduct research and gather information to support project activities, such as identifying potential training providers, speakers, and mentors.
• Coordinate with partners, sponsors, and government stakeholders to ensure smooth programme implementation, programme reach and long-term collaboration.
• Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, branding, and communications teams to ensure streamlined execution and strategic alignment.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and innovation across delivery models and processes.
• Undertake other ad hoc tasks as required to advance organizational objectives.
