Job summary

DENSO Philippines Corporation is seeking a Team Leader to oversee assigned production lines, drive productivity, ensure quality, safety, and operational excellence, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in production leadership, excellent communication and analytical skills, strong planning ability, and proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, and 5S is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a production leadership, manufacturing, or supervisory role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage assigned production line(s) to achieve daily production targets.
• Monitor daily production efficiency and implement effective corrective actions when required.
• Optimize line productivity through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote and maintain the highest standards of product quality, workplace safety, and operational discipline.
• Monitor and support Line Leaders to ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining product quality standards.
• Conduct daily morning meetings to review performance, discuss operational issues, and communicate preventive and corrective actions.
• Support Line Leaders in employee performance evaluations and provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Develop, maintain, and improve standard work instructions and work processes.
• Support New Product Development (NPD) activities, including process implementation and trial runs.
• Review and verify engineering drawings and production-related documentation.
