Job summary

FIS Global Solutions Philippines is seeking a Senior Production Support Analyst to maintain stable production environments for financial software. Role location: Hybrid (three days in-office, two days virtual) Shift: Sydney Australia Business Hours - 6:00AM to 3:00PM PHT with on call responsibilities

About the role

As a Senior Production Support Analyst, you will support business-critical software used by financial institutions and help maintain stable, reliable production environments. You will investigate complex incidents, coordinate solutions across technical teams and lead improvements to cloud-hosted services. You will also support application releases and the transition of selected services to Amazon Web Services.

Your key responsibilities

• Monitor and support production applications, investigate incidents and restore service within agreed timelines.
• Troubleshoot issues across Microsoft Windows, Microsoft SQL Server, networks and cloud-hosted environments.
• Lead complex incident investigations, root-cause analysis and coordination across technical and business teams.
• Lead application release activities, reliability improvements and migration work for services moving to Amazon Web Services.
• Participate in a scheduled weekend on-call rotation to support application availability.

Required qualifications

• Significant experience in production support, application support or technical support, including ownership of complex incidents.
• Advanced hands-on experience supporting, monitoring and troubleshooting applications hosted on Amazon Web Services.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft SQL Server, networking fundamentals and structured troubleshooting methods.
• Demonstrated ability to lead root-cause analysis, coordinate multiple stakeholders and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Availability to participate in a scheduled weekend on-call rotation.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience supporting credit risk or financial risk management applications.
• Experience with monitoring and event-management tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk or BigPanda.
