Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Production Support Analyst to join our team and provide critical support for business applications and production systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on AS/400 experience and exposure to PSEA/G400, strong troubleshooting, incident management, and on-call readiness in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Support Analyst or similar role.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AS/400.
• Experience supporting applications utilizing PSEA/G400.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production support for business-critical applications and systems.
• Monitor application performance, identify issues, and ensure system availability.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution.
• Support batch processing, job monitoring, and application deployments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and support procedures.
• Participate in on-call support and production maintenance activities as required.
