Job summary

Asurion Philippines seeks a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality and on-time output. You will coordinate shift activities and align resources with maintenance, quality and materials teams to maintain schedule adherence.

The role requires a 4- to 5-year engineering degree, a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing operations, and at least 2 years of people-handling experience, with a focus on continuous improvement and standard work.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and manages people through monitoring of attendance, behaviour, and performance; ensures resources are available to support operation's requirements.
  • Attends to line issues, coordinates and collaborates with teams; escalates issues when necessary and communicates updates to the team.
  • Conducts line audits to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Prepares reports and other communications pertaining to performance achievements and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participates in projects to maintain competitiveness and ensures continuous improvement.
  • Drives performance through coaching, counselling, mentoring and training.
  • Responsible for the individual development of team members.
  • Coaches team members on their performance; conducts regular performance appraisals.
  • Enforces discipline in compliance with company rules and regulations to promote Asurion core values.
  • Motivates team members through rewards and recognition of achievements.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned from time to time.

The Production Supervisor leads day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, and output goals. This role coordinates shift activities, aligns resources, and resolves issues to maintain schedule adherence and product standards. The supervisor coaches frontline associates, enforces procedures, and supports continuous improvement across processes and equipment. Collaboration with maintenance, quality, and materials teams ensures efficient flow, minimal downtime, and accurate documentation. The position maintains a safe workplace, drives standard work, and communicates expectations, performance, and priorities to the team.

Job Purpose:

The Production Supervisor oversees the end-to-end process of a team in the assigned area. Critical to the business is the achievement of the KPls specifically to productivity, profitability, quality and most importantly management of team members.

Job Responsibilities:

Education: Graduate of 4 or 5-year course, preferably Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in operations of manufacturing industry.
  • At least 2 years people of people-handling experience.
