The Production Supervisor leads day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, and output goals. This role coordinates shift activities, aligns resources, and resolves issues to maintain schedule adherence and product standards. The supervisor coaches frontline associates, enforces procedures, and supports continuous improvement across processes and equipment. Collaboration with maintenance, quality, and materials teams ensures efficient flow, minimal downtime, and accurate documentation. The position maintains a safe workplace, drives standard work, and communicates expectations, performance, and priorities to the team.
Essential Job Skills/Duties
- Leads and manages people through monitoring of issues on terms of attendance, behaviour, performance, and ensuring resources are available in order to support operation's requirements.
- Attends to line issues, coordinates and collaborates with team across functions; escalates issues when necessary and communicates updates to the team.
- Conducts line audit to ensure compliance to standard operating procedure.
- Prepares reports and other communication materials pertaining to performance achievements and identify areas for improvement.
- Participates in projects to maintain competitiveness and ensures continuous improvement.
- Drives performance through effective coaching, counselling, mentoring and training.
- Responsible for the individual development of team members.
- Coaches team members on their performance; writes and delivers performance appraisal on a regular basis.
- Enforces discipline in compliance to company rules and regulations in order to promote Asurion core values and ensure that applicable rules and regulations are understood and implemented.
- Motivates team members through rewards and recognition of achievements.
- Performs other task that may be assigned from time to time.

Required Education & Experience
- Open to undergraduate candidates with proven supervisory experience or equivalent years of experience in a team leadership, production supervision, or people management role.
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in operations of manufacturing industry as a production supervisor.
- At least 3 years people of people-handling experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervises frontline production staff.
- Participates in hiring, onboarding, and scheduling.
