Job summary

Entel HK Philippines seeks an experienced Production Planning Lead to drive manufacturing planning, capacity analysis and on-time delivery. You will liaise with Sales Admin, Production and Quality to ensure realistic plans and prompt resolution of issues.

The role requires a BS Engineering degree, at least 5 years in Production Planning and Control, and hands-on ERP/MRP experience (Epicor preferred; Oracle, SAP or SAGE also acceptable). We value knowledge of capacity planning and time study.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering Graduate (BEIE, ECE, EE, CoE).
• 5+ years proven experience in Production Planning and Control in manufacturing.
• Experience with MRP II or ERP systems; Epicor advantageous; Oracle/SAP/SAGE acceptable.
• Knowledge in Capacity planning and time study.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Closely liaises with Sales Admin team to provide best possible lead times for enquiries and firm sales orders, constantly monitoring sales order loading to prioritize production and ensure on time delivery to Customer

• Regularly monitors additional demand requirements such as forecast and Finished Goods safety stock targets to ensure, in the absence of firm sales order priorities, each production area produces the necessary stock expected to maintain competitive and flexible customer supply, and effective utilization of labour.

• Coordinates with Supply Chain for materials and Production for labour & capacity supportability to ensure the plan remains achievable, identifying and communicating early, any risks that may jeopardize achievement of the plan.

• Assesses material availability and production readiness to appropriately firm up and release new Job Orders to production areas, issuing pick list to Warehouse and generating the necessary document pack such as Traveler, labels, etc

• Constantly monitors progress towards plan through regular communication with Production and Quality departments to ensure effective identification and resolution of issues arising to reduce any negative impact on target achievements.

• Provides proactive updates to Sales Admin and / or Packing area about possible delays to shipments, including accurate information of issues arising and likely resolution dates.

• As lead liaison with internal group customers Entel UK and Korea, constantly monitors A/S requirements and coordinates with necessary departments to ensure timely replenishment.

• Leads regular production meetings and reports on the identified information required to measure production performance and effectiveness

• Continually checks for accurate material issuance and correct stock transactions to ensure stock accuracy within production warehouse and correct traceability of materials.

• Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time or as the need arises.

Qualification

• BS Engineering Graduate, (BEIE, ECE, EE, CoE).

• A minimum of 5 years proven experience in Production Planning and Control practices applicable to a manufacturing process

• Proven experience with MRP II or ERP systems. Epicor an advantage but any system such as Oracle, SAP, SAGE etc is sufficient

• Knowledge in Capacity planning and time study.
