Job summary

PIVOT-HAWKS MANILA, INC. is seeking a Production Control Planner to organize daily through monthly production schedules and coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Engineering, and Quality to ensure timely delivery of finished goods in electronics manufacturing.

The role requires a degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field, 3–5 years of planning experience, strong ERP/MRP and Excel skills, and proven leadership to drive on-time delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in production planning, production control, or manufacturing operations, with supervisory or team leadership.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, SMT/PCBA or electronics assembly operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, capacity planning, inventory control, and production monitoring.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including data analysis, pivot tables, formulas, and reporting.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination with Production, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and other departments.
• Ability to lead, coach, and monitor team members to achieve targets and KPIs.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and changing production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand, forecast, and capacity.
• Monitor production progress and adjust plans for shortages, delays, or priority changes.
• Ensure alignment of production plans with customer delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Warehouse to ensure timely raw material availability.
• Monitor material shortages and elevate risks affecting schedules.
• Support inventory control by balancing production requirements with inventory levels.
• Review customer orders and forecasts, translating them into executable production plans.
• Analyze machine, manpower, and line capacity to ensure feasible scheduling.
• Track output vs. plan and identify root causes of variances.
• Prepare and submit production status reports, backlog reports, and on-time delivery metrics.

About the role

The Production Control Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and controlling production activities to ensure timely delivery of finished goods while optimizing resources, materials, and capacity. This role plays a critical part in coordinating with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Engineering, and Quality teams to support efficient manufacturing operations in an electronics manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand, forecast, and available capacity.

• Monitor production progress and adjust plans to address shortages, delays, or priority changes.

• Ensure alignment of production plans with customer delivery commitments.

• Coordinate with Purchasing and Warehouse to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies.

• Monitor material shortages and elevate risks that may impact production schedules.

• Support inventory control by balancing production requirements vs. inventory levels.

• Review customer orders, forecasts, and changes, translating them into executable production plans.

• Analyze machine, manpower, and line capacity to ensure feasible scheduling.

• Track production output versus plan and identify root causes of variances.

• Prepare and submit production status reports, backlog reports, and on-time delivery (OTD) metrics.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in production planning, production control, or manufacturing operations, with supervisory or team leadership experience.

• Experience in electronics manufacturing, particularly SMT, PCBA, or electronics assembly operations, is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, capacity planning, inventory control, and production monitoring.

• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, formulas, and reporting.

• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with Production, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and other departments.

• Ability to lead, coach, and monitor team members to achieve departmental targets and KPIs.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities and changing production requirements.
