Job summary

Ams Osram in Calamba, Laguna is seeking a skilled planner to develop and execute production plans based on demand forecasts. This role involves creating detailed schedules and analyzing production capacity to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate should have a diploma in Industrial Engineering or relevant experience, with at least 5 years in Manufacturing/Semiconductor Planning. Strong knowledge of the SAP system and excellent analytical skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short-, mid-, and long-term production plans based on demand forecasts
• Create detailed production schedules aligned with capacity, manpower, and machine availability
• Analyze production capacity and identify bottlenecks. Communicate risks and mitigation plans effectively
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, SCM, Logistics, and other support groups.
• Analyze product specifications to plan and ensure availability of materials and machines resources to ensure manufacturing work orders meet on time delivery schedule
• Ensure adherence to company policies, planning procedures, and industry standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert in planning and control systems. Support team development and knowledge sharing
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

Qualifications

• Diploma in Industrial Engineering / or experience in a technical field along with experience in planning/scheduling in a customized / engineered to order manufacturing environment
• Min 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing / Semiconductor Planning
• Strong knowledge and experience of SAP system, Excellent Microsoft office skills with strong analytical abilities
• Good communication & negotiation skills, multi-tasker and a good team player
• Ability to work under pressure to fulfil tight deadlines / stress management
