Universal Robina Corporation (URC) in Calamba is seeking a Production Operator to operate specific machines, follow SOPs, and ensure production within specifications while minimizing costs.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot machine issues, and assist in inventory and reporting tasks as required. This role requires technical education with a hands-on, team-oriented mindset.

Formación

• Graduate of technical/vocational, engineering or engineering-related courses; certifications/license an advantage.
• Experience not mandatory; food & beverage manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Familiar with EHS, GMP, HACCP, HALAL, and QMS systems is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain assigned machines per SOPs, work instructions and manuals; follow safety, quality and maintenance standards.
• Perform basic equipment care, cleaning, sanitation, and start-up/shutdown procedures.
• Conduct inspections, sampling, and coordinate with Production Supervisor on non-conformances.
• Input material usage in SAP S/4 Hana during operation.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, QMS, HACCP, HALAL and FSSC policies; support internal audits.
• Prepare production and inventory reports and participate in turnover activities.
• Perform additional tasks as delegated by the Immediate Superior.

Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Production Operator in Calamba Plant.

The Production Operator operates specific machine/s assigned to him following standard operating procedures and ensures that they are in good running condition. Responsible for producing goods within standard specifications at the right time at a minimum cost. Performs immediate corrective maintenance and troubleshooting in case machine breaks down and conducts preventive maintenance as planned until authorized personnel are available.

What are the Roles and Responsibilities?

• Operate and maintain the machine based on the applicable standard operating procedures, work instructions, and machine manuals, following standards and systems including, but not limited to, safety, product & process quality, and preventive & corrective maintenance;
• Conduct basic equipment care (BEC), cleaning & sanitation activities, and machine preparation based on start-up, shutdown and cleaning procedures;
• Conduct inspection and sampling activities, and coordinate with the Production Supervisor non-conformances based on product & process indices, BEC checklists, hazard & risk assessments, and other standards & systems implemented;
• Input/encode the material usage during the operation in SAP S/4 Hana
• Ensure implementation of policies and standards related, but not limited to, EHS Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, Good Manufacturing Practices, QMS, HACCP, HALAL, and FSSC; and as in the case may be, form part of the Internal Audit team and ensure compliance on established management systems mentioned;
• Accomplish production reports, inventory reports, and/or production monitoring sheets; and attend turnover activities;
• Perform other tasks and functions as may be delegated by the Immediate Superior.

What are the Qualifications?

• Graduate of technical/vocational, engineering or engineering-related courses, preferably Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; technical certifications and/or license is an advantage;
• With or without experience, but experience in food and beverage manufacturing is an advantage;
• Familiarity on relevant management systems in the food industry, including but not limited to EHS Management Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices, QMS, HACCP, HALAL and FSSC, is an advantage;
• With considerably significant communication and administrative skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel); and SAP S/4 Hana
• Has a good team-player, customer-centric and innovative work attitude
